Persona 5 Series Reaches 15.5 Million Sales

Sega Sammy have released their 2026 integrated report, giving an updated sales figure for the Persona 5 series, which has now reached 15.5 million sales. This figure is stated to be as of the end of March, 2026.

This will include Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, Persona 5 Strikers and Persona 5 Tactica.

The graphic in the English report erroneously claims that the Persona series launched in 2002. The Japanese report uses the correct year of 1996.

The previous milestone for the series was given in the 2025 integrated report, where it had reached 13 million units sold. In September 2025 it was also stated that Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal had reached 10 million sales.

The Persona series as a whole has reached 30 million copies sold as of June, 2026. It was also announced in September that the Persona 4 series had sold 5.7 million copies, and the Persona 3 series had sold 5 million copies.
